环境工程教研室成立于1976年,1977年首批招收环境工程4年制本科生,是我国最早招收环境工程的三个院校之一。至今已招收本科生25届,为国家培养了640多名合格的环境工程专业人才。该教研室早期依托本校给水排水工程和供热供燃气与通风工程两个专业在国内的优势,吸收化学、化学工程、生物工程等相关学科,建立了一支知识结构全面、学术层次合理的教师队伍。1984年获得硕士学位授予权。至今已培养硕士生150余人;工程硕士名30余人;学位进修生15人;在读硕士生82人。1996年获得博士学位授予权,至今已培养博士生20名;在读博士生31人。2000年获得环境科学与工程一级学科博士后流动站,现有在站博士后研究人员2名。2002年被评为国家环境工程重点学科。2003年获得环境科学与工程一级学科博士学位授予权。2003被陕西省人民政府授予陕西省名牌专业。 教研室现有教师16名,其中教授6人;副教授5人。中、青年教师中获博士学位(或在读)占60%以上。二十多年来,承担国际自然科学基金、国家科技攻关项目等国家级课题20余项;参加国家自然科学基金重点项目3项;省部级科研项目50余项;其它横向科研项目150余项。获省部级以上科技进步奖8项;出版教材和专著本;发表科研论文300余篇,其中被SCI、EI、ISTP三大检索收录20余篇。 依托于本专业的环境工程实验室为原冶金部和陕西省重点实验室,实验室建筑面积1500 m2,实验装备总值达到1200万元以上,配备有高压液相色谱、气相色谱、离子色谱、原子吸收、TOC等大型分析仪器及生物反应器、无菌操作室、化学化工反应釜(塔)、电除尘器、布袋除尘器等水、气及固体废物工艺试验装备,为本专业本科生和研究生的科学试验提供了良好的研究条件。 本专业本科生的主要专业基础课和专业课程有:有机化学、无机化学、分析化学、物理化学、环境工程微生物学、工程制图及测量学、流体力学、环境系统分析、环境监测、环境质量评价、水污染控制工程、大气污染控制工程、固体废物处理与处置等,为了适应市场经济和学科发展的要求,本专业增加了向环境科学、市政工程、环境管理等相关专业的渗透能力,拓宽学生的知识面,提高学生的综合适应能力。 本专业研究生的主要专业基础课和专业课程有:高等物理化学、高等流体力学、生物化学、反应工程学、气溶胶力学、环境生物技术、废水生物处理过程数学模型与数值模拟、水污染控制工程、大气污染控制工程等。
Understanding the past; Knowing the present; Challenging the future ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING PRORAM (EE) Environmental Engineering (EE) program at XAUAT was evolved from the well-developed programs of Water & Wastewater Engineering and Heat Supply & Ventilation Engineering, and was issued in 1976. It was the first EE program in China. After more than 25 years development, the EE has become one of the best such kind of programs in China. In 2001, EE program was awarded as the TOP4 in China by Ministry of Education. Graduate and postgraduate study Four categories of graduate study are offered by XUAUT in the program. Master of Science (MS) Master in Engineering (MEng) Ph D Post Doctor The duration of the study depends on diploma pursued and project participated. However, generally, 2.5 – 3 years are needed for MS study and 3-4 years for Ph D study. Students who want to study in the program as graduate students should have a strong background in one of the following majors: Environmental engineering, Municipal Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related subjects and engineering. FacilitiesEnvironmental Engineering Laboratory (EEL) belonged to the program is one of the best laboratory in China. It is supported by XAUAT and SHAANXI province. The annual budget is more than 2 million RMB. A lot of modern analysis devices, such as HLPC, GC, TOC ANALYZER and BOD ANALYZER, and process devices, such as AUTOMATIC BIOREACTOR, O3 GENERATER, ELECTRONIC precipitator, are equipped with in the EEL. The EEL is opened 24 hours per day for graduate students. Current research areasA lot of research projects supported by State, Provincial and Local government and Companies have been conducted in the program. Current research areas include: Biological nitrogen and phosphorous removal Modeling and simulation of biological wastewater treatment process Sustainable urban water management Physical-chemical processes for water and wastewater treatment Reclamation and reuse of sewage and industrial wastewaters Particulate substances control and removal from air emission SO2 and NXO emission control Main graduate coursesDifferent levels of graduate courses are offered in the program.
