The Second College English Teaching Section ， attached to Foreign Studies Department, Xi'an Univ. of Arch. & Tech., shoulders the task of offering College English course to all the first-year and second-year undergraduates as well as the students of College of Vocational Technology and College of Continuing Education. It is presently comprised of 30 faculty members, including 9 associate professors, 11 lecturers and 10 teaching assistants. With a vast majority of youth teachers, this section is marked by boundless energy and vitality. Among the 30 members there are not only teachers who have won the first and second prize in the previous sessions of “Youth Teacher Lecturing Competition” but also those who have got the Teaching Achievement Award and the winners of the honorary titles such as “Model Ethical Teacher” and “Budding Teacher”.
