XAUAT News Network — The Ministry of Education has recently announced the approval of significant operational changes proposed by XAUAT Adelaide University An DE College. Corresponding updates have been officially published on the Ministry of Education’s Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Regulatory Information Platform.

This approval marks a pivotal milestone for An De College. It not only demonstrates theCollege’s proactive adaptation to new trends in global cooperative education but also signals a strategic transformation in its collaboration with Adelaide University, Australia. The changes lay a robust foundation for deepening disciplinary development, enhancing talent cultivation, and establishing the Institute as a high-level, exemplary model of Sino-foreign cooperative education.
Revised Study Modes:
Undergraduate: Transition from the "4+0" model to a "3+1" dual-degree model.
Postgraduate: Implementation of a parallel system featuring both the "1+1+1" dual-registration, dual-degree model and the "1+1" single-registration, single-degree model.
Extended Validity Periods:
Undergraduate enrollment validity extended to 2031.
Master’s enrollment validity extended to 2032.
Introduction of a new Foreign Master’s Degree Program, with enrollment validity until 2033.
Overall institutional license validity extended until December 31, 2035.
Expanded Programs and Enrollment Quotas:
Undergraduate: Addition of new majors including Artificial Intelligence and Smart Construction. Annual enrollment quota increased to 345 students.
Master’s: Addition of new majors including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Technology. Annual enrollment quota increased to 220 students (comprising 120 students under the National Master’s Enrollment Plan and 100 students under the Foreign Master’s Degree Program).
Increased Institutional Capacity:
Total student capacity expanded from 1,200 to 1,940 students.
