The Shaanxi Provincial International Joint Research Center for Building Services Science and Underground Space Environment (hereinafter referred to as the Research Center) was approved for establishment by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology in 2021. Relying on the strong strength of universities and research institutions such as Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, it jointly establishes the center with countries along the 'Belt and Road' such as Singapore and Russia, as well as internationally renowned institutions in Denmark and other countries. The research center focuses on the key scientific issues and major common technical problems in the fields of building equipment science and underground space environment, and carries out systematic research on the intelligent operation and maintenance of building equipment, the environmental control and safety guarantee of underground space, and the energy conservation and emission reduction of building equipment. It has a high-level academic team, and has undertaken a large number of national, provincial and ministerial key scientific research projects. The center has achieved a series of important scientific research achievements, which have been widely applied in the building equipment and underground space engineering projects in Shaanxi Province and the whole country, and has made important contributions to the high-quality development of the building equipment industry in Shaanxi Province and the whole country.
