Shaanxi Provincial Field Scientific Observation and Research Station for Water Quality in the Qinling Water Source Area

The Shaanxi Provincial Field Scientific Observation and Research Station for Water Quality in the Qinling Water Source Area was officially approved for establishment in May 2022. It is the first field station in Shaanxi Province and even the whole country that focuses on the scientific observation and research of water source water quality. Its main purpose is to grasp the water quality change law, evolution mechanism and influencing factors of the main water source areas in the Qinling Basin through the observation and research of the water quality of the main water source areas in the Qinling Basin, and to provide scientific basis and technical support for the protection of water source areas, the improvement of water quality and the guarantee of drinking water safety. The station has a complete set of field observation equipment and laboratory analysis equipment, and has a professional observation and research team. It has carried out long-term continuous observation and research on the water quality of the main water source areas in the Qinling Basin, and has achieved a series of important observation and research results.
