Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Membrane Separation

The Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Membrane Separation was officially established on May 19, 2017, relying on the School of Environmental and Municipal Engineering of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, the Key Laboratory of Northwest Water Resources and Environment Ecology of the Ministry of Education, and the Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Environmental Engineering. It is a 'four main bodies and one joint' platform unit. The laboratory's research focuses on the preparation and application of membrane separation materials, membrane separation technology and equipment, and the application of membrane separation technology in the fields of water treatment, environmental protection, resource utilization and other fields. It has a high-level academic team, and has undertaken a large number of national, provincial and ministerial key scientific research projects. The laboratory has achieved a series of important scientific research achievements, which have been widely applied in the water treatment and environmental protection projects in the western region, and has made important contributions to the development of membrane separation technology in Shaanxi Province and the whole country.
