Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Nanomaterials and Technology

The Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Nanomaterials and Technology was approved for project establishment in 2004, relying on the advantageous resources of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and the School of Metallurgical Engineering of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology. The laboratory currently has 71 permanent and mobile personnel, with a scientific research room area of about 2600 m², and more than 300 sets of advanced instruments and equipment. It focuses on the research and development of nanomaterials and nanotechnology, and has formed a series of characteristic research directions with outstanding advantages. It has undertaken a large number of national, provincial and ministerial key scientific research projects, and has achieved a series of important scientific research achievements, which have been widely applied in the fields of new materials, electronic information, biomedicine and environmental protection, and has made important contributions to the development of the nanomaterials industry in Shaanxi Province and the whole country.
