At present, the School of Continuing Education has 43 undergraduate and junior college-level majors with a chief emphasis on such subjects as Civil Engineering, Architecture and Architectur al Construction. In recent years, the School has relie d on the University's educational philosophy and the advantage of educational resources. In addition, the number of students keeps increasing and quality improving. A dult higher educational forms are divided into correspondence program s and part-time evening courses. The enrollment is on three levels—undergraduate program after high school education, professional training program after high school education, and undergraduate program after professional training. The School's specialty has preliminarily formed a multi-disciplinary and multi-level training mode, featur ing subjects like Architecture and Civil Engineering, including subjects like Management and Machinery, etc.

In the area of enrollment, the School not only puts a key emphasis on providing education for large enterprises but also pays attention to providing services for Shaanxi province and N orthwest areas, as well as training personnel for small and medium cities, and grass-roots working units. C orrespondence education is the main educational form of the School's adult higher education program . The School has already established over 50 correspondence education stations throughout the country, which are located in 21 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.
